Eric Lyles graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2017. For the past eight years, Coach Lyles has been a vital part of the Lincoln High School Lady Lions Varsity Basketball program. He began his journey as an assistant coach for four years, where he developed a deep understanding of the game and built strong relationships with the athletes. Upon the retirement of his mentor, Coach Tommy Best, Coach Lyles was honored to step into the role of head coach, a position he has held with pride and dedication ever since. Known for his leadership, strong work ethic, and ability to inspire athletes, Coach Lyles has a passion for developing well-rounded student-athletes both on and off the court. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and continuous growth, preparing his players for success in basketball and in life. Before joining the Lady Lions staff, Coach Lyles spent countless years with Jersey City Recreation, running summer basketball programs to provide opportunities for inner-city youth to develop their skills in a positive and structured environment. His commitment to empowering young athletes extends beyond the high school program.
