Alisa Wiggins has a deep passion for basketball, where she developed her love for the game on neighborhood courts and in school gymnasiums. Her experiences as a player helped shape my understanding of team dynamics and leadership. Coach Wiggins was an 1,000 point scorer at Montclair High School. Following her high school career, she earned a division 1 women’s basketball full scholarship to play at Kansas State University. She played there for three years before transferring to the University of Northern Colorado. After graduating, Coach Wiggins started coaching at Montclair High School as the girl’s assistant coach. Currently, she is the head girl’s basketball coach at Beloved High School in Jersey City. She believes in building strong fundamentals as the foundation for success, fostering teamwork and positive team culture, teaching life lessons through basketball, and maintaining high academic and character standards. Coach Wiggins is always eager and excited to coach new players and looks forward to partnering with them in their athletic journey.
