Andrea Veres

was a four-year varsity starter at Bethlehem Catholic High School where she scored 1,238 career points and still holds the Lehigh Valley Conference record for the most three pointers in a game. She ranks second all-time in career three pointers in the LVC. Andrea was a two-time All-Conference First Team selection, two-time First Team All-Area selection, and two-time Bethlehem Catholic MVP. While at Bethlehem Catholic, Veres led the Lehigh Valley Conference in scoring her junior year and led the Hawks to their first district playoff berth in seven years. Andrea continued her basketball career at Division II East Stroudsburg University, where she was a four year starter and three year team captain. Andrea finished her career with 925 points and ranks second in career three point field goals and foul-shooting percentage, and tenth in career assists. While at ESU, Andrea was named team MVP, two-time Lehigh Valley Scholar Athlete, five-time PSAC East Freshman of the Week, and received the ESU’s Coaches Award. Andrea currently works as a Speech- Language Pathologist in the Phillipsburg School District.
