is a NJ native who brings passion, energy, and a deep commitment to player development to the Centenary University women’s basketball program, where she currently serves as a Graduate Assistant Coach. Her experience ranges across multiple levels of the game, from middle school to collegiate athletics. Coach Jada began her coaching career in 2022 as a volunteer assistant for both the varsity and junior varsity girls teams at Barringer High School in Newark, NJ. At the same time, she contributed to the Elmwood Park Recreation program, coaching middle school boys and girls, gaining valuable experience in teaching the game at its foundational levels.
A former collegiate athlete, Coach Jada played at Passaic County Community College from 2023 to 2025. Known for her sharpshooting ability, she ranked among the top 20 players in the NJCAA Region 19 for three-pointers made. Her time as a player has helped shape a coaching philosophy rooted in hard work, basketball IQ, and competitive discipline, qualities now instilled in the athletes they mentor. Since joining Centenary University, Coach Jada has taken on a wide range of responsibilities within the women’s basketball program. These include coordinating player development sessions, assisting in practice planning and game preparation, developing scouting reports, contributing to in-game adjustments, and supporting the team’s recruiting efforts. As a graduate assistant, she is actively pursuing continued education while gaining firsthand experience in collegiate coaching and program management.
