Bill Lyons

has been coaching youth sports for over seven years. He played varsity basketball at Madison High School and graduated from Rutgers University Cook College in 1995. Coach Lyons has obtained several certifications including, the Rutgers Youth Coaching Certification (Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. clinic – Sports Awareness for Educating Today’s Youth) and Heads Up Concussion Training for Youth Sport Coaches. He is a USA Basketball Licensed Coach.

Coach Lyons coached four years for the Washington Borough Rec K-3 Lil’ Hoopsters Clinic and was head coach for six years for Washington Borough Rec Basketball. He also was head coach for four years for local AAU Basketball travel teams. Coach Lyons was an Instructor for Breakthrough Basketball Skills Camps and Shooting & Ball Handling Camps. Coach Lyons has also assisted Coach Bob Tanguay with the Hunterdon Hoops Training Programs for 3+ years.
