Tyler McKinnon

graduated from Montclair State University in 2013. In the summer of 2014, he interned at Impact Basketball Academy in Sarasota, Florida. In 2016 Tyler began as an assistant trainer at the Impossible Training Northeast Headquarters in Colts Neck, New Jersey. He is a certified trainer under the Possible Training company. Tyler is coaching girls basketball at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. For the 2019-2020 season, he was the Junior Varsity coach. Tyler helped the varsity team reach their first Group IV state championship game in decades. He became head coach of the Ridge girls’ basketball program in November of 2022. Tyler is looking forward to continuously establishing Ridge High School as a competitive group 4 program. As a coach and a trainer, Tyler’s instructions are detailed to improve player performance. He is eager to develop the skills and mentality of athletes to prepare them for during and after their athletic careers.
