Jessica Kovatch

is a 2019 graduate from Saint Francis University with a major in marketing and management. As a freshman, she was the Northeast conference and ECAC Rookie of the Year. Jess Kovatch led all NCAA freshman in scoring with 20.9 ppg and was named a “Face in the Crowd” in the February 29th edition of Sports Illustrated. As a sophomore, she was named to the North East conference First Team, was an ECAC All-Star, and was named to the Nancy Lieberman Watch List for nation’s top point guard. She became the 25th player to reach 1,000 points in 47 games or fewer. As a Junior, she set the NCAA record for most threes made in a season with 141. and was a Top 10 Finalist for Lieberman Award. Jess Kovatch was also the NEC and ECAC player of the year and finished second in the NCAA in total points and scoring at 24.4 ppg. As a Senior, she was named NEC player of the Year and Senior CLASS Award Second Team All American, ECAC First Team All Conference, named to the Wade Trophy Watch List for the best player in college women’s basketball, and named to the Preseason Lieberman Watch List. She finished her career as the all time leading scorer in school and NEC history with 2,874 points. She is also ranked second all time in NCAA history with 472 made three pointers.
