Katie Terhune

was First Team All-Area, First Team All Conference and All West Jersey selection for three seasons at Warren Hills High School. She holds the school record for points with over 1,500 in four years as a varsity starter. Katie earned a full scholarship to play basketball at Boston University where she was a four year starter. She is Boston University’s All-Time Leading Scorer (1,971 points) and was one of two active Division I players in the country to have her jersey retired before graduation. During college, Katie was a three-time First Team All- Conference Selection, Two-Time Boston University Athlete of the Year, New England Athlete of the Year Nominee, Most Outstanding Player for the America East Conference Tournament in 2003, led her team to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history and holds various other school records. In May of 2011, Katie was inducted into the Warren Hills Hall of Fame. In May of 2014, Katie was inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame. In August of 2014, Katie was named one of the Top 10 Players of the 90’s by the Easton Express Times.
