Marielle Thorsen

graduated from Belvidere High School in 2008. That year she was named the Express Times Basketball Player of the Year. She graduated with 1,219 career points and received 1st Team All-West Jersey and 1st Team All-Area Honors. Coach Thorsen continued her basketball career at Marywood University where she scored over 1,000 points. In 2012, Marielle received her Bachelor’s of Science Health and Physical Education with a Minor in Coaching. Currently, she is a Health and Physical Education Teacher at North Hunterdon and is the assistant coach to Girl’s Soccer, Girl’s Basketball and Girl’s Lacrosse.
