Peyton Kay

was a high school varsity athlete in Basketball, Track & Field (All-State), and Soccer in the Connecticut. Following high school, he was a collegiate rugby player in Boston for the Northeastern University Rugby Football Club, a Division 1-A rugby program competing in the highest level of college rugby within the United States. In Peyton’s senior year, the team went undefeated, becoming Liberty Conference Champions in the conference’s inaugural year, 2017. Peyton graduated Northeastern University with a Business degree in Finance & Entrepreneurship and moved to NYC to work for Bank of America in Counterparty Credit Risk Portfolio Management. After 3 years and being promoted to AVP, Peyton realized his true calling was youth sports programming.

Peyton moved to NJ and focused in on his passion and is dedicated to building sports programs for youth athletes to develop into the best versions of themselves! Peyton is the General Manager of GRIT Sports Training in Downtown Jersey City, which provides youth sports and athletic training programs, a sports-based day and summer camps, as well as various sports and recreational youth events. Peyton holds a NASM Youth Exercise Specialist certification, is certified in Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED. Peyton is also the Founder and Head Coach for Beast Coast Basketball, a fundamental basketball skill-building program in Jersey City for elementary and middle school athletes. Peyton also volunteers as an assistant coach for the Hurley Family Foundation basketball program, helping with player development and coaching for two travel teams.
