Yuri Brutus

played high school basketball at Roselle Park then collegiate basketball at New Jersey City University. At NJCU, he served as the Captain of the Men’s Basketball Team (2017-2019). After college, he was the assistant boys basketball coach at Roselle Park High School for multiple seasons before becoming the assistant coach at Newark Tech. As a coach, he focuses on fundamental skill instruction to maximize player development. Coach Brutus uses various forms of motivation to help guide student-athletes to success.
