Zoe Pero played high school basketball at Secaucus High School and Saint John Vianney. During her high school career, she earned honors for First Team All League and All County (SHS) and 2nd Team All Shore (SJV). Saint John Vianney won the Shore Conference Championship (2016), won the Non Public A State Sectional Finals (2014, 2015, 2016), won the Non Public A State Championships (2015, 2016), won the New Jersey Tournament of Champions Title (2016), was ranked #1 in New Jersey (2016) and was ranked #8 in the Final USA Today Polls (2016). After high school, she continued her basketball career at St. Peter’s University where was was on the MAAC All-Freshman Team, led the Conference in FT% Freshman Year, was on the MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC All-Tournament Teams her senior year. After college, she began her coaching career back at Saint John Vianney where she has been the Assistant Varsity and Head Junior Varsity Coach since 2020. Saint John Vianney has been ranked #1 in New Jersey (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), has won four Shore Conference Tournament Championships (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), has won two Non Public A State Sectional Championships (2022, 2023), has won the Non Public A State Championship (2022), has won the New Jersey Tournament of Champions (2022), has been ranked #4 by USA Today (2022) and #9 by USA Today (2023), and was the McDonald’s All American Game East Assistant Coach (2025). She is currently a Pre-K Teacher at the Corpus Christi School.
